Easy Earth-Toned Smokey Eye! :)
I wanted to do something a little more dramatic with my new shadows. After I finished the look, it kind of looked like an earth-toned smokey eye. I used 3 of my new shadows to create this. I also used one of my new Target lip glosses. Here is the Earth-Toned Smokey Eye:

Here are the things I used:

Wet n' Wild Lip gloss in Sinless, and three MUG shadows: Bada Bing, Beaches and Cream, and Shimma Shimma. (On my cheeks, I used Beaches and Cream on the apples, and Shimma Shimma as a highlighter). ;)

This look can work on pretty much any color eye-especially blue eyes. It can also look great on any skin tone. If you are fair, maybe you can lighten it a bit; and if you are really dark, you can add some black. This look is really simple, and is very quick to achieve! Also, the light shimmery pink creamy gloss I used paired very well with the eyes. (To find out more about the gloss, go to my 'Target Haul!'). Hope you like this easy smokey eye!<Lucy :D

I'm An Official Makeup Geek!!!!! :D

My wonderful eye shadows from Makeup Geek finally arrived! I have done swatches of all the shadows, and a look using 2 of the shadows. I'm so impressed by these shadows. They go on so smoothly, and they are highly pigmented. I also love the Raspberry Z Palette. It is so professional looking, and very stylish! :)> The eye shadows came in really cute packaging also. But what really made me happy was the HANDWRITTEN Thank You Card! It made me smile! Being handwritten instead of being typed up, made a huge difference. I'm so happy that the MUG staff take the time to do that! It was awesome! :D Any way, here are the swatches, descriptions, and the look.:

 The amazing Palette! ;D
I could just look at it all day!

Swatch #2:

Silvery gray pale purple. This shadow is the most perfect color to wear to prom. It matches anything: dress, hair, eyes and skin.
Razzleberry:
Bright red with gold glitter. This is really the best and most fun and gorgeous red in the world! Did you know that this was the very first makeup product made for the MUG line? ;)

Shimmery plum. This is my new go-to evening color. Sweep  it on the lid, and you are gorgeously ready to go for a fun night out!
Shimma Shimma:
Shimmery cream shade. So iluminating, and makes the eyes light up. Shimma Shimma is glamorous and great for a romantic look. I also like to use it as a cheek highlighter! ;)
Unexpected:
Dusty pale gray purple. I've never seen any color like this velvety matte gray-purple. I guess that's why they call it unexpected. Soft and alluring.

All of these AMAZINMG eye shadows are my favorites, and when they start to run low, I will restore them as soon as I can! I can't wait to get more of these fabulous colors, and I am hoping to maybe get some Makeup Geek Lipsticks too! :D These shadows will probably be the only ones I use for a while. ;)Here is the soft look I did, using 2 Makeup Geek shadows. As, you can see, this look I wanted to be light, so I didn't pick up a lot of the color on purpose. Don't worry, these colors have much more pigmentation in them! ;)
The shadows I used:
Appletini, and Unexpected.
The look:

I hope you found all of my swatches helpful, and most of the makeup addicts out there probably already have these shadows. But if you don't, GET THEM! :D They are awesome, and a definent must have! Talk to you later!<Lucy the Makeup Geek! :)

Warm Every Day Look:
This morning I just wanted to do an easy, quick and warm face, so I just swept on some magenta and tan shadows. I was about to start my day, when I decided I might as well put this look on my blog. I used warm magenta in the crease, with only a touch of black shadow, and it worked well with the tan lid. Here is the look:

 Ahhh! Blurry pic! xD
This look really makes the eyes sparkle and the face light up. A perfect everyday look.

What I used:
Elf-Fat Eye Pencil in Little Miss Thing, (as base), Tan eye shadow, Magenta eye shadow.
MAC-Black pencil liner. (is what I smudged in the crease a bit).
NYX-Blackish Gray eye shadow (for under eye).
Clinique-Bronzer in shade Medium.
NYX-Diamond Sparkle Lip Gloss in Beige Sparkle.
Rimmel London-Scandleyes Fat Pencil in Witness White (for tear duct highlight).
Covergirl-Lashblast Fusion Mascara in Black/Brown.

Have a great day!<Lucy

Target Haul!
I, know, I know, 2 posts in 1 day! Well, after I made my look this morning, I went to Target to get some outs and ins. this is what I got:

I got an Elf eyelash curler that came with replacement pads for only $1!!!!!!!!!!:
Next, I got a clear-ish lip gloss with a hot pink tone from Wet n' Wild called Cotton Candy for $2:
I then found a creamy pink pearl gloss called Sinless also from Wet n' Wild for $2:
My last thing from Wet n' Wild was a super bright glossy red lip color  called Red My Mind for around $3:
Then, I got a fat eye pencil from Rimmel London in the SCANDLEYES series in Witness White for around $3. This pencil is similar to the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, but it has a shimmer finish instead of a matte one.:
I really wanted to get a couple more fat eye pencils, so I bought an Elf one in the color Little Miss Thing (a pretty shimmer gold) for $2:
I got one last jumbo eye pencil from Elf in a black shade called Midnight Rendezvous for $2:

Next, I found an Elf shimmer pencil in the color Iconic Ivory that I liked. I already have a gold shade of one of these pencils, and also a green one. They are only $1!:
I continued to shop in the Elf section, and bought an angled eye liner brush for $3:
I finished my trip to Target by getting an Elf Eye Blending brush that was perfect for my crease. $3:

Here are all of the colors on my arm:
Red My Mind, Sinless, Cotton Candy, Witness White, Little Miss Thing, Midnight Rendezvous, and Iconic Ivory.

I'm hoping this was a little bit helpful for some of you drugstore shoppers, and I will be using them in my up coming looks. I am also going to be doing a series soon, and I would LOVE any ideas for a series theme! Thanks!<Lucy
Fresh Spring...Weed? :)
This look is actually inspired by an interesting weed I found in my back yard! It was green with a few different brown shades. As you can see in the picture, I have very chapped lips, so instead of lip color, I used some Vaseline, which has a natural glossy look to it. As I said in my older post, I purchased some Makeup Geek eye shadows, and I forgot to say, I am going to be doing swatches of them when they get here! Hope you like my 'Weed' look!:p<Lucy

What I used:
Elf-Shimmery Light Brown shadow, Dark Brown Matte shadow, Lime Green Matte shadow
Sugar Pill-Eye shadow in Tako
MAC-Highlighting Light Brown shadow
Maybelline-Dream Bouncy Blush-Frost Pink
and Vaseline.

Summer Breeze!
This look I created a while ago, but due to my busy schedule, I didn't have time to post it for a few days. I intended this look to be for winter, but when I was finished, I thought it looked like a light and airy summer look. It reminded me of a summer breeze. I kept this look light, and it will look amazing on brown eyes. If you have blue eyes, switch it around and make the shadow combination with browns instead. Green eyes could work with a purple combination. BTW, I just purchased a Raspberry Z Palette, and 27 eye shadows at Makeup Geek! I will definently be using them a TON when they come in the next week or so. Enjoy the look!<Lucy

Here is the combination of lip products I used. First, is the SiBella Sugar Plum Lipstick, then the NYX Beige Sparkle gloss, and then both of them.

Products Used:
MAC-Light Blue shadow, Slightly Darker Blue shadow, Blue Toned Dark Gray Shadow(Sorry, I don't have the names) (:p
SugarPill-eye shadow in Tako
Clinique-Bronzer in Light/Medium
NYX-Beige Sparkle Gloss
SiBella-Lipstick in Sugar Plum

I hope you enjoy my first look! ;) (Sorry for the blurry pics!)
